Paying land tax has just become easier, yesterday the Tax Commissioner announced that residents can make payments through their banks as well as on the Government website.

Tax payers can now access their accounts and make payments on their land tax through online banking at Butterfield Bank, Bank of Bermuda and Bermuda Financial Network.

Payments can also be made at the Government website www.etax.gov.bm and at Butterfield Bank's ATM machines and Bank of Bermuda's remote banking and call centre.

These new services will start on February 1 to ensure that tax payers will be able to pay their land tax before the March deadline.
