Bermuda has scooped four awards from prestigious corporate travel magazines for excellence of service.

'Meetings and Conventions', 'Successful Meetings', 'Incentive', and 'Corporate and Incentive Travel' magazines honoured the Island.

Arthur Lugo, Bermuda Department of Tourism's manager of group and incentive sales in the United States, said: "We're thrilled and honoured that these distinguished publications and their readers strongly value the services we offer.

"Certainly our ability to provide a superior experience for meetings and incentive travel programmes is a team effort and made possibly by a variety of diligent and creative partners in Bermuda's tourism sector."

The Tourism Department became only the second international tourist board to be entered in 'Meetings and Conventions' Hall of Fame after winning the gold service award for the 12th time.

The department won the pinnacle award from 'Successful Meetings', and the platinum partner award from 'Incentive' magazine.

Finally, 'Corporate and Incentive Travel' gave Bermuda the 2003 Award of Excellence.

All the awards were based on quality of service and professionalism.
