Man fined for driving offences

A 43-year-old Devonshire man was this week fined $1,830 in Magistrates' Court for driving offences ? including not having insurance for his bike.
Aaron A. Chapman pleaded guilty on Monday to the offences which occurred when he was stopped by Police on Crow Lane on November 30, 2003. He was fined $1,000 for not having insurance and $250 for driving a bike with no licence.
He was also fined $230 for speeding at 61 kph and $100 for not having a valid driver's licence.
Chapman was also fined $250 for the fraudulent use of documents, but details of the offence were not given in court.
