St. Brendan?s Hospital is set to take over the management of around 16 clients of charity Hope Homes who have been living at The Cottage in Dockyard.

However St. Brendan?s Hospital director Patrice Dill stressed that did not mean they would be housed on hospital grounds but explained they would be placed in one of the group homes it managed in the community.

She said the full details had yet to be finalised and the plan was being orchestrated by the Ministry of Health.
