Two men appeared in court yesterday jointly charged with robbery.

Damiel Shamal Martin, 21, of Wyndham Hill, Hamilton Parish, and Jerkeyo David Berkeley, 26, of Alexandra Road, Devonshire, are accused of robbing Louis Moniz of his wallet, driver?s licence and $4 on January 20 in St George?s.

Berkeley was also charged with possessing an offensive weapon, a heavy chain, and having a bladed article, a four-inch safety pin.

The case at Magistrates? Court was adjourned until February 7.

Martin was bailed and given a 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. curfew and Berkeley was remanded in custody.
