More than two-thirds of the respondents to a Royal Gazette online poll support the law requiring Bermuda drivers to wear seatbelts.

The unscientific poll, which ended yesterday, saw 949 people respond to the question: "Should Bermuda drivers be required to wear seatbelts?"

Of that number, 64.9 percent said "yes", 33.6 percent said "no" and just 1.5 percent said they did not know.
