The 9 Beaches resort at the former Daniel's Head Village, has been granted Planning approval to build a swimming pool and hot tub.

Architect for the project is John Gardner of Cooper and Gardner.

The resort is scheduled to open in April.

Quarry Trust gets go-ahead

Twelve new apartments will be built in Warwick.

The Quarry Trust is behind the development, which will be located at 79 Middle Road in Warwick.

New apartment building

A new apartment building has been given the go-ahead for Breezyway Lane in Smith's.

The application for five apartments was submitted by owner and developer Martin Hassell, Jr. on January 21.

Mr. Hassell is hoping to demolish the current building to make way for the new one, but said construction was unlikely to begin soon.

Bruce Lines is seeking Planning approval to convert a residence at 114 Harbour Road, Paget, into a guest house.

The designer and architect for the proposed project is Malcolm Wilson.

Southampton homes approved

Four three-bedroom and two-bathroom apartments have been approved for Southampton.

Developers Bluff Sound Limited will build the project on Admiral Lane.

Two of the apartments will be on the ground floor while two will be on the first floor. Plans also call for a driveway.

Architects for the project are Linberg & Simmons Ltd.
