A construction site and home were raided by thieves over the weekend.

Police received reports from a Fort Drive resident that someone had broken into his home and stolen an auxiliary cycle, a lady's designer handbag, a wallet which contained credit cards and personal items, a golf club, house and car keys and two children's school bags.

The break-in took place sometime between 12.30 a.m. and 7.30 a.m. on Sunday.

In a separate incident Police received a report that three cutting torches were stolen from the worksite at the Swing Bridge. The items were taken sometime between 6.30 p.m. on Saturday and 2.30 a.m. on Sunday.
