A teenager received ten stitches in his ear when he was treated in hospital following a fight outside the Dockyard nightspot Club Malabar in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Police declined to comment yesterday.

However, it is understood that the 19-year-old Warwick man decided not to press any charges following the fight, which flared up just after 2.30 a.m. on Saturday.

In the hours immediately afterwards, he attended King Edward VII Memorial Hospital with a lacerated ear and received ten stitches.
