The Reefs nets top Conde? Nast award
The Reefs resort has been recently named as one of the best places to stay in the world according to Conde? Nast Traveller Magazine.
The news came shortly after Travel & Leisure Magazine named the resort one of the top 500 hotels.
Out of the 42 hotels in the Atlantic and Caribbean region, Conde? Nast ranked The Reefs as number eight with a total overall rating of 91.5. The top hotel on the was Ladera in St. Lucia.
The Southampton resort only has 65 guest accommodations but remains in the competition with larger hotels. The article from Conde? Nast appears in the January issue.
The difference between the two awards is that Travel & Leisure includes the top 500 hotels and Conde? Nast includes the top 700 places to stay in the world.
For Travel & Leisure, the Reefs is the only Bermudian hotel mentioned. Conde Nast mentioned three other Bermudian hotels ? Waterloo House, Pink Beach Club and Cambridge Beaches.
According to a press release, general manager Neal Stephens said: ?The Reefs has just hit back-to-back- sixes?.
He went on to further say: ?This is very exciting for the hotel and speaks volumes about the hard work and dedication of The Reefs staff. We are blessed with a wonderful location, but we?d be nothing without our staff.?
Mr. Stephens continued: ?Evidently our guests agree ? the highest rating we received was for our service.?
The Reefs has received many more awards locally as well as internationally.
