The Bermuda Fire Service's report into the huge Christmas Day fire near the Tynes Bay Waste Treatment Facility has been completed but has not been released to the public, The Royal Gazette can reveal.
Close to three weeks after the terrifying fire Fire Lt. Dana Lovell said the Fire Department's investigation was completed but would not divulge what started the blaze.
Chief Fire Officer vincent Hollinsid said - shortly after his crews put out what is thought to be the largest fire the Island has seen in 20 years - that investigators will “examine every possibility” into the cause of the fire. At that time, arson had not been ruled out.
