A Bermuda lottery winner walked away with a cheque for $122,000 this month after his name was drawn by the Caribbean lotto. The winning ticket for draw number 561, held on Wednesday, July 6, was purchased by a Mr. Trott on July 4 at Triple Crown Racing on Victoria Street.

?I picked the numbers at random myself and have been playing them for several years,? said Mr. Trott, whose first name was not released by the company which organises the lottery.

?I almost won the jackpot 18 months ago but was one digit off. I?m just delighted that consistency paid off in the end.?

Andrea Joseph, manager of Triple Crown Racing, said she was delighted to see a regular customer win the jackpot.

?I received a call from the lottery operators on the following Thursday telling me that we had a winner, and they were able to give me the precise time the ticket was purchased. My customers have their routines so I knew who it probably was and am really pleased for him.? The winning numbers for draw number 561 were 2, 10, 14, 23, 26, and 29. Mr. Trott was the only jackpot winner for the draw.
