Rarely seen: Parked at L.F. Wade International Airport, this unusal aircraft is thought to be either a WB-57 or a Lockheed U2 extreme high-altitude aircraft. It most closely resembles the WB-57 aircraft, of which only two are believed to still exist in the world, and have previously been used by NASA for high-altitude research. The long-winged aircraft was accompanied by a US Air Force support plane when it landed on Thursday and departed yesterday.Photo by Glenn Tucker
