A winning smile from Dee Dee
Dee Dee Furbert was voted an outstanding ambassador for Bermuda tourism when she won the third quarter VIP Bermuda Sunshine Award on Monday.
Mrs. Furbert, the front office manager at St. George?s Club, has spent 15 years in the industry and worked her way up the ladder of the East End establishment.
?Repeat club members continually write to the VIP nominating Dee Dee for her wonderful welcoming smile and a great big hug at reception,? said Tourism Minister Renee Webb at the presentation lunch. ?(Many single) her out for making their stay in Bermuda brighter by some wonderful gesture of hers.

Mrs. Furbert received a gold VIP Sunshine award pin and a complimentary weekend for two at Grotto Bay Hotel.
She is married with three children, all of whom have supported her throughout the years as she has welcomed numerous St. George?s Club members to be a part of her extended family in Bermuda.
