Accused denies Goring killing

A Pembroke man pleaded not guilty in Supreme Court yesterday last year's manslaughter of Frederick John Goring.

Kofi Omahr Dill, 23, of Eastgate Lane, is alleged to have unlawfully killed Mr. Goring between November 11 and November 14 of last year.

Mr. Goring was found on November 11 on the corner of Orchard Grove and Glebe Road. It was assumed he was the victim of a road traffic accident.

He was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital where doctors discovered he had in fact been physically assaulted. After spending two and a half days on life support at the hospital, Mr. Goring died on November 14.

Dill was remanded until his mention date on May 1. He is represented by Larry Mussenden.
