Air passengers arrivals went up by more than five percent in July compared to the same month last year.

Recorded arrivals in that month were 101,783 compared to 96,503 in 2003.

Airport general manager Jim Howes said the increases had been seen on the British Airways flight from London, the Continental flight from Newark, the US Airways flight from Orlando, Charlotte and Baltimore and the USA 3000 flight from Baltimore.
