Visitors will soon be will able to book a flight to Bermuda and select a place to stay at the same time, thanks to USA 3000 Airlines.

The low-cost airline, which begins service to the Island on May 7, is offering cheap fares to Bermuda as well as a website where flights and hotels can be booked at the same time.

USA 3000?s sales director Trevor Sadler, told : ?Inbound travellers will be able to select available hotels, cottages, and other such properties and we will pass the information on, and then the hotel will charge the customer.

?In real time everything will be updated. The hotels have the power to change the rates on the site. All we do is facilitate the process.?

In the future, Mr. Sadler hopes to offer bookings for golf tee times, visits to certain locations in Bermuda, and airport transportation to hotels.

?My target is to have a soft launch in about 14 days. We are going to put it on the web for anyone to find it accidentally, without using fanfare. After we determine it is fully functional we will put out fanfare.?

He described the service as a ?partnership? between the hotels and the airline.

He said: ?Eight hotels have confirmed their desire to work with us on this so far, but we have not started the formal process with them yet.?

When asked which hotels have showed interest he said: ?The top hotels on the Island have expressed their interest.

?We are not just focusing on high-end properties though. We want to offer a range of different options.?
