And hopefully Santa will prove to be a good real estate agent because topping our unofficial poll for Bermuda?s wish list is housing.

?All I want for Christmas is to find an apartment,? said Natalie Stienlet, who has been living on the Island for the past year, but has found herself in need of a new flat.

?Top of my list? That would be a house,? said Suzanne Koren.

Accompanying Suzanne was her niece, Jessica Koren, whose Christmas wish may be even more difficult to fulfill.

?She wants a boyfriend,? said her aunt. ?But don?t tell her mom that.?

Despite these rather difficult requests, several Bermudians said that this year they would not be too difficult to please.

?Whatever I get I?ll be happy with right now,? said Dominique Anderson.

?But I suppose money would be really useful now,? she said, adding that she was off for university soon and that some spending money would come in handy abroad.

?I?ll be happy with anything my wife wants to give me,? said Rudy Ford.

Frank Farmer said his Christmas wish comprised solely of family warmth.

?It will make me happy just to have my family around me,? he said.

That is on the top of Kelly Ellis?s list too.

The Canadian will be flying back to her home town of Ottawa tomorrow, Christmas Eve.

?I want to arrive in time for Christmas without any delays on the way,? she said.

She explained she wanted to spend as much time with her family as possible this Christmas ? and as little as possible at the airport.

One 11 year old, his mother will be happy to know, will be far easier to shop for this Christmas.

When asked what he wanted for a present, George Cook, simply said: ?Beyblades, not really anything else.?

Santa Claus will surely have a little harder time fulfilling Debbie Marshall?s request this year. ?What do I want for Christmas? I really need some peace right now,? she said.
