An enthusiastic crowd cheered on the 17 Miss Teen Bermuda Pageant contestants last night at City Hall.

Contestants took to the stage to prove to the judges why they should wear the crown and carry the coveted title for 2004.

The evening was filled with slide shows, dance, fashion and roars of support from the appreciative audience.

A full house watched the contestants compete for the title and a list of impressive prizes including $1,000, a one-year membership at the Olympic Club, a wardrobe from Trimingham?s, a digital camera, a watch from Crissons and free service and installation from WOW for one month.

Along with the title of Miss Teen Bermuda, the contestants competed in Miss Talent, Miss Congeniality and Most Photogenic categories.

The talent and photogenic portions of the pageant took place last week.

Last night the contestants dazzled the judges with their personal styles and evening wear selections.

Last years winner was Sah-Shay Johnstone. This year?s winner had not been announced byPress time last night, however, will have an interview with the winner tomorrow.
