'Driving ban will prevent me from seeing my children'
A Pembroke man who was banned from driving for one year, told a Magistrate yesterday that it would mean he would be unable to see his five children who "live all over the Island".
James Jermaine Raynor, of Curving Avenue, Pembroke pleaded guilty to drinking and driving on May 2.
Raynor was also fined $1,000.
Asking for leniency because of his children, Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner told him: "You might not be able to have anymore children if you can't drive all around the Island."
"I guess I'm gonna be a deadbeat dad for a year," Raynor said.
