British Airways has launched a seat sale offering return travel to the United Kingdom for as little as $499.

The $499 fares are for London and Manchester, with other UK cities at $603, for travel between November 1 and December 14.

Fares to other European cities on those dates, including Dublin, Paris, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Geneva, Madrid, Moscow and Athens are priced from $608 to $700.

Fares for people travelling in October are $599 to London and Manchester, with Belfast, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Newcastle starting from $703. Flights to the same European range of cities are from $733 to $825.

Tickets must be purchased before September 14 and travel must include a Saturday night. Maximum stay is one month and one stopover is permitted in London for an additional $75. The fares are for midweek travel, with weekend travel costing an extra $60.
