The Bank of Bermuda Foundation on Monday announced its latest donations.

The Foundation said the gifts, given to ten local charities, totalled more than $900,000.

Recipients were: The Bermuda Cricket Board, for the Stefan Kelly Educational Scholarship; The Bermuda High School for Girls building expansion project to accommodate more in the International Baccalaurete Diploma Programme; Bermuda Island Games Association 2005 where 180 athletes and coaches will represent Bermuda at the 2005 Island Games in the Shetland Islands. This marks the largest sporting contingent to ever represent Bermuda abroad at any one time; The Bermuda Lawn Tennis Association?s Bank of Bermuda ITF Junior Circuit Tournament, 18-25 June 2005; Bermuda National Gallery Autumn 2005 exhibitions; Bermuda Triathlon Association?s Bank of Bermuda Foundation Triathlon Race Series, 11 and 18 September 2005; a programme coordinator for the National Dance Foundation of Bermuda; Somersfield Academy building expansion; The Windreach Bermuda Trust Programme, and the West End Athletic Club for the Bank of Bermuda Foundation West End Athletic Club?s Schools Track and Field Challenge 2006.
