Police are hunting thieves who broke into the Black Horse Tavern in St. David's in the early hours of Monday.

The culprits forced their way in through a door and stole several cases of beer and bottles of wine.

Police said there were also indications the thieves tried to break into a vending machine and jukebox, and attempted to steal a television.

And a thief managed to steal a 14-inch colour television from a house in Woodbourne Avenue, Pembroke, on Monday night.
