Barbados gives $10,000 to Fabian fund

The government of Barbados has donated $10,000 to the Hurricane Fabian Relief Fund and will be spent on fixing the homes of senior citizens whose homes were damaged, Government said on Friday. said the cheque was received on July 13 and is going to be ?deposited in the account of the National Office for Seniors and the Physically Challenged?.
?This kind and generous gesture by the government of Barbados, is a tangible demonstration of the friendship and warm connections that exists between Bermuda, its people and the government and people of Barbados,? he said.
Mr. Scott thanked Prime Minister of Barbados Owen Arthur. He pointed out that Barbadians were employed in almost every section of the Bermudian economy.
