BAS to serve up hospital meals

Patients in King Edward VII Memorial Hospital will have their meals provided by Bermuda Aviation Services (BAS) in May while hospital kitchens are closed down for renovations.

The meals will be prepared at BAS's kitchens at Kindley Road, St. George's and transported to Hamilton for distribution to patients.

The hospital last night apologised for the inconvenience, but thanked BAS for stepping in to help.

Staff meals will be provided by Bermuda Hospitals Auxiliary and the dietary staff at St. Brendan's Hospital.

Members of the public can only be served at the Pink Cafe until the kitchens have been renovated.
