Belco engineers were hoping to find a fault which has caused frequent power outages in the past month for businesses in Addendum Lane, Pembroke.

Businesses complained on Tuesday after they suffered short power cuts in the morning and afternoon, resulting in some losing computer files.

A Belco spokeswoman said: "There is an underground fault and we are trying to determine where it is. It is a priority and we are working on it and hope to get it sorted as soon as possible.

"We are very concerned because we recognise there have been a number of problems and it has been inconveniencing customers."

A spokeswoman at Friendly Forwarding on Addendum Lane said: "It is only about ten minutes at a time, but it is happening a lot lately and it is getting annoying."
