Jewellery taken

Several items of jewellery and $100 were stolen from a Loyalty Estate, Sandys home on Saturday. Police said an unknown culprit broke into the home between 12.45 p.m. and 5.45 p.m.

Brawl outside club

Three Hamilton Parish men were arrested on Saturday night for brawling outside the Bailey's Bay Cricket Club.

At around 10.50 p.m. on Saturday, Police spoke with a 35-year-old Pembroke man who said he was outside the club when three men approached him.

"One of the men proceeded to punch him about the head, and a struggle ensued," Police said. "During the struggle the victim's chain fell to the ground and was recovered by his assailants."

The three men escaped in a car but were caught and a 22 year old, a 20 year old and an 18 year old was arrested and detained.

Man evacuated from yacht

A contractor aboard the vessel Bright Star II had to be evacuated yesterday after he felt dizzy and had trouble breathing.

The captain of the vessel called Harbour Radio and described the man's condition, which included numbness. A Marine Police boat was then sent to Soncy Bay in Fairylands to pick him up.

The contractor is in his 30s and was picked up by officers aboard Heron 3 and taken to the Marine Police dock.
