Black purse taken from cycle

A black purse with white stripes and a white Playboy bunny on it was stolen from the seat compartment of a cycle on Tuesday. It contained $190 in cash and numerous personal items.

The incident happened between noon and 1 p.m. while the owner was swimming at Chaplin Bay, Warwick.

Electronic equipment stolen

Electronic equipment, worth about $3,000, was stolen from King Bean's Warehouse on Old Military Road, St. George's, between 1 p.m. on Monday and 10 a.m. on Tuesday. The items included a 20-inch Toshiba LCD television, an ultra slim seven-inch television radio and speaker phone and two Audiovox portable DVD players.

Police: Lock up your homes

Jewellery and a DVD player were stolen from a Vale Close, Pembroke home on Tuesday.

The theft happened between 8.15 a.m. and 4.30 p.m. Police have warned residents to lock their homes after an increase in break-ins across the Island. The areas particularly affected are Warwick and St. Monica's Road, Pembroke.
