Police were called to a reported assault at 10 a.m on Sunday. The victim, a 53 year old Hamilton Parish man, stated that the incident took place between 12.30 a.m. and 12.45 a.m. that day at the Hamilton Parish Workmen?s Club. He said he was outside the club when he saw two men fighting. According to the Police, a 29 year old Devonshire man, kicked the victim twice in the face and later punched him several times. He sustained bruising and swelling. Inquiries are underway.

Police have continued to appeal for help to locate 33 year old Andrew Laing. The Jamaican national was last seen on Friday, October 6, 2006 and is being sought regarding immigration offences.
