Police attended a car fire on South Road, Warwick, in the early hours of yesterday. The Bermuda Fire Service also attended the scene, near the junction with Dunscombe Road, at around 3 a.m. They extinguished the blaze, but the car was extensively damaged.
An investigation into the cause of the fire is underway. Police have appealed for anyone with information to contact the Somerset Criminal Investigation Unit on 234-1010.
Intruders break into home in early hours
A burglary victim got a rude awakening in the early hours when three male intruders broke into her home.
Police said the trio searched the home and demanded cash, before fleeing the Devonshire property with $500. The break-in on Alexandra Road was at about 5.20 a.m. on Friday.
