A 17-year old Devonshire girl was fighting for her life last night following a major road crash yesterday morning.
Kara Richardson was a passenger on a motorbike driving west on Middle Road in Warwick at 8.30 a.m when it ploughed into the back of a car which had come to a sudden stop.
A spokesman at the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital said last night the girl was in a "critical but stable" condition in the hospital's ICU unit having sustained serious head injuries.
The bike's driver, also a 17-year old Devonshire parish girl, was only slightly injured in the crash and was treated at KEMH for road rash, cuts and a chipped tooth.
