Boy, 15, hurt in jet ski accident

A teenager on a jet ski tour was injured after he slipped from his mother?s jet ski yesterday.The 15-year-old boy was riding with his mother across the Great Sound from Boaz Island to Jews Bay when he slipped off the vehicle. His mother was not aware of it at the time and continued to ride on. When she realised that her son was no longer on the jet ski she alerted the tour company she was with. The instructors located the young man at the KP1 buoy near Morgan?s Point. He sustained minor injuries in the fall and was taken to the Waterlot Inn dock to be treated.

A spokesman for the Bermuda Maritime Operations Centre was not aware if the teeanger was a resident of Bermuda or visiting the Island.
