Police have issued an advisory for residents in Warwick and Paget to be vigilant in securing their homes after a rash or reported break-ins. Residents are also warned to be on the lookout for suspicious activity in their neighbourhoods and report it to Police on 295-0011.

Police are investigating two break-ins which happened on Wednesday in the western parishes.

At 9.05 p.m. officers attended a report of break-in on Daisyfield Drive in Somerset. The occupant told Police that some time between 7.25 a.m. and 8.15 p.m. that day, someone broke into their home stealing a Toshiba 13-inch TV with built-in DVD player and approximately $15 worth of coins.

At 7.40 p.m. officers attended a Middle Road, Southampton home where the occupant said that someone broke into the house and stole a PlayStation, several DVDs and video games. The unknown culprit gained entry between 7.25 a.m. and 6.45 p.m.
