A 19-year-old Warwick man was killed this afternoon in a collision on Warwick Lane near the juncture with Spice Hill Road in Warwick.

An investigation into the crash is still underway.

Police believe that the teenager, who was on a motorcycle travelling west on Warwick Lane, collided with an SUV travelling in the opposite direction around 3.15 p.m.

The man was rushed to the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital with serious injuries.

He was officially pronounced dead following his arrival.

The Royal Gazette understands the deceased is the son of a Police officer.
