British Airways announced this afternoon that flights would remain grounded — ash from the Icelandic volcano eruption is the cause of the five-day service disruption.
Customers were again urged to re-book flights for a later day or claim a full refund.
“Many people have already done that but are reminded that they may now need to rebook once again should their flight be on a cancelled day,” a spokesperson said.
In order to assist passengers, the British Airways ticket office at L.F. Wade International Airport will open between 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. today and tomorrow.
