Bermuda battled back to end the first day of their Intercontinental Shield match with Uganda at almost level-pegging.

After winning the toss and then collapsing to 91 all out, the home side quickly made amends reducing Uganda to 10 for four.

Kervon Fubler took three wickets on his senior debut, while Malachi Jones also took a wicket on his return to the side.

Uganda finished the day slightly ahead however with skipper Baig Akabar and Frank Nusugba putting on a fifth wicket stand of 61 as the visitors ended the day on 71 for four.
