Breaking News: Hurricane threat forces Bermuda to cut short Canada trip

The threat posed by Hurricane Igor has forced the Bermuda cricket team to cut their tour of Canada short.

Originally due to return to the Island on Saturday, the team will instead arrive home tomorrow, missing the last two games of the series.

Bermuda Cricket Board has opted to bring the team home early because of the risk that if they stayed, and the storm is a bad one, they might be stuck in Toronto until the early part of next week.

It is also believed that the majority of the squad wanted to be with their families, if, or when, the hurricane hits.
