Three masked men burst into a Flatts barber shop and attacked a young man working inside.

Eyewitnesses say the incident happened shortly after lunchtime, and the assailants made off from the scene by car.

According to preliminary reports from the Police, the incident at the International Lines and Designs shop on North Shore Road appears to be an assault rather than a robbery.

“There was a victim. His injuries do not appear to be life threatening,” said a spokesman this afternoon.
