Breaking News: PLP investigation into press leaks
The Progressive Labour Party has launched an investigation to determine who in the party caucus is leaking information to the press.
Public relations officer Wentworth Christopher issued a statement today, saying the move was necessary to “restore trust and confidence”.
“Apparently within our ranks there is at least one person who is surreptitiously leaking information to the press, and indicating, sometimes incorrectly, the way his/her colleagues voted,” he stated.
“Many times this has been done before deliberation on issues is complete. That conduct may be viewed as noble if it served the common good, but can only be perceived as deplorable when it is used to further a selfish personal agenda.”
