Police this afternoon named the victim of a fatal road accident as 79-year-old Ivor Reid, of St. George’s.

A Police spokesman said: “Around 5.15 p.m. on Friday, Police received a report of a fatal single vehicle road traffic collision on Mullet Bay Rd in St. George’s.

“It appears that a motorcycle was traveling east on Mullet Bay Road when the rider lost control and collided with a wall.”

He was given emergency treatment at the scene and taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital but later pronounced dead.
