Breaking News: Two people hospitalised after Pembroke fire

Two people were treated in hospital after a fire broke out at a Pembroke home this afternoon.Firefighters were called to Middle Town Drive around 12.30pm.“There does not appear to be any suspicious circumstances however a 42-year-old Pembroke woman and a 45-year-old Pembroke man were taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital (KEMH) via ambulance for treatment of smoke inhalation,” said a Police spokesman.

A KEMH spokeswoman said the pair were treated and released.
An investigation into the incident is underway.
