Breaking protection order costs Sandys man $500

A man who broke a protection order by calling up his ex-fianc? and leaving a message on her answering machine was fined $500 yesterday in Magistrates' Court.
Forest Nusum, 37, of Sound View Road, Somerset pleaded guilty to telephoning Cybele Lewis on September 23.
Crown counsel Charmaine Smith told the court that Nusum has several previous convictions
Acting Senior Magistrate Carlisle Greaves asked Nusum if he was the man who poured Dettol disinfectant into his girlfriend's eyes.
Nusum said: "Yes it was me, but she had a hold of my testicles."
Mr. Greaves said the breaking of a protection order is a serious offence and told him to pay his fine immediately or spend six months in prison.
