Budget gets negative poll online
A majority of people who responded to a Royal Gazette online poll are opposed to this year's Budget.
The poll, on www.theroyalgazette.com, asked "How do you feel about this year's Budget?"
Forty seven percent of respondents said they were strongly opposed and 20.4 percent said they were opposed to the Budget, presented two weeks ago by Finance Minister Eugene Cox.
Just 6.8 percent said they were strongly in favour and 9.7 percent said they were in favour of the Budget, while 15.5 percent of respondents said they had no opinion. One hundred and three people responded t the poll, which ran on the website from Sunday, February 24 until yesterday at 1 p.m.
The next poll, "Do you think the three-week limit on visitors' stays should be extended?" will begin at noon today on www.theroyalgazette.com
