Former Housing Minister David Burch has been appointed as chairman of the West End Development Corporation (Wedco), replacing Government MP and Minister Without Portfolio Walter Lister.

Works and Engineering and Housing Minister Ashfield DeVent said as Wedco focuses on residential development Mr. Burch?s experience at Bermuda Housing Corporation (BHC), where he is also deputy chairman, would be useful.

Michael Weeks has returned to the BHC board after an absence for educational commitments.
