Senators have a full day today as they debate the economy and a number of financial bills up for their consideration.

The economic debate kicks off the Upper Chamber?s debate of Government?s Budget for the upcoming financial year. Department by department scrutiny of the Budget starts on Friday and continues next week Monday, Wednesday and Friday. On the agenda for debate today are two payroll tax bills, amendments to the Bermuda Monetary Authority Act and the Public Treasury Act.
