Arch-rivals Bermuda CableVision and World on Wireless (WOW) are set to share a room and spell out their plans on the future of television on Friday.

The companies will given presentations to the business technology division of the Chamber of Commerce. Technology division chair Nancy Volesky said: ?We are indeed fortunate to have both speakers and this really is the first time there has been an opportunity to learn first hand about a variety of emerging entertainment technologies in Bermuda.?

WOW is planning to launch a 114 channel service in mid-April that will challenge CableVision?s monopoly on cable television.

The meeting on Friday begins at 12 noon at the Chamber of Commerce office in Hamilton and is restricted to Chamber members who are advised to say in advance if they will be coming.
