CableVision court battle to continue today
Government and CableVision will battle on in the courts today after failing to to settle their differences in yesterday's closed chambers session before Supreme Court Justice Norma Wade Miller.
Cablevision are trying to overturn a Government injunction stopping them from pulling the plug on the island's cable TV service.
Government's stopped them from ending the service when their 15-year licence expired two weeks ago.
The injunction made them keep the service for three months while they enter talks with Government who want them to promise to improve the service.
The company have only been given a one-year licence but say they can't afford to keep investing millions of dollars with such a short-term deal.
