A First Avenue, Pembroke resident came home from a trip late on Wednesday to find a burglar had taken a large amount of expensive items and even Christmas presents from under his tree.

Among the things taken were a black and grey HP laptop computer, a Silver Axis motorcycle with licence plate 807 and his camouflage army jacket and pants.
