BERMUDIAN dancehall artist Collie Buddz (pictured)<$f"FranklinGothic-DemiCond"><\p>will make music history when he appears on the first reggae/soca bill to perform before sell-out audiences at New York’s Madison Square Garden in New York.Buddz, whose debut single Come Around topped reggae charts world-wide last year, is the opening act for Trinidadian soca legend Machel Montano’s Madison Square Garden shows tonight and Saturday.

The legendary venue holds an estimated 6,000 patrons

Collie Buddz — born Colin Harper — was signed by Sony BMG last year and was paired with the music label’s superstar chanteuse Beyoncé on her number one hRing The Alarm Remix<$>.

His self-titled debut album will be released in late May.
