Acting Finance Minister Alex Scott (pictured) yesterday warned anyone thinking of sending hoax suspicious packages that they will be harshly punished by the courts.

"If anyone, anywhere, thinks they want to emulate this, they do so by taking a great risk because the most extreme penalty will be used," he said.

"This will not be taken lightly by Government, the Police or the courts. Copy cats beware!"
